I have a collection of succulents, cacti, and other flora around my home. Unfortunately, my cross-country move to the midwest in 2021 killed most of the plants I had cultivated for years. This Christmas Cactus was the first plant I bought after settling into our apartment, and it gifted me blooms for the holidays. This work was the first painting I created in my new Midwest Studio.
